Millions of Miles Driven, Billions of Pounds Moved, Zero Recordable Safety Incidents

Leading Autonomous Vehicle Safety By:

Hazards

Reducing
Hazards

Autonomous vehicles are redefining safety in manufacturing and warehousing by replacing one of the greatest sources of risk—manual forklift operation—with consistent, rules-based autonomy for safer, more controlled workflows.

Fork Free

Supporting
Fork-Free Initiatives

Seegrid AMRs empower facilities to strategically plan, coordinate, and manage forklift activity—streamlining the execution of fork-free initiatives that enhance safety and significantly reduce risk on the facility floor.

Earning Your Trust,
Mile After Mile

With over 17 million autonomous miles driven across more than 200 customer sites, Seegrid AMRs have operated without causing a single OSHA-recordable incident—showcasing its reliability in dynamic, real-world environments.

BUILT FOR SAFETY, ENGINEERED FROM THE GROUND UP

The Seegrid Approach to Safety

At Seegrid, safety isn't just a feature—it’s the foundation of everything we build. Our approach is guided by four non-negotiable principles that drive every automation solution:

Seegrid AMRs replace one of the most variable and high-risk elements in palletized material handling—manual vehicle operation—with predictable, rule-based autonomy to create safer, more stable industrial environments.

Powered by Industry-Leading
Payload Detection

Seegrid’s advanced payload detection capabilities ensure safe, precise, and reliable material handling in dynamic, real-world environments.

Infrastructure Detection

Before picking up a load, the AMR scans the area to check for infrastructure or potential obstructions that may interfere with its intended vehicle path. It uses its vision system to identify and precisely locate the forkable pockets of the load.

Intelligent Payload Acquisition

After checking for obstructions, the AMR precisely aligns itself for pickup. Powered by Dynamic Path Planning, Seegrid lift truck AMRs can intelligently adjust approach angles to accommodate misaligned or yawed pallets –an essential feature in dynamic and variable environments.

Pre-Placement Free Space Scan

Prior to drop-off, the AMR scans the designated drop zone to check that it is clear of obstructions–such as debris, misplaced pallets, or other equipment– for safe, damage-free payload placement.

Precision Payload Placement

After checking for obstructions and planning its path to the drop location, the AMR places the payload with controlled accuracy before seamlessly continuing on to its next task –maximizing productivity while maintaining safety.

ENGINEERED FOR SAFETY

Layered Safety.
Fewer Risks.
Smarter Autonomy.

Seegrid AMRs are engineered with a robust, multi-layered safety architecture that not only meets—but exceeds—the ANSI B56.5 safety standard for guided industrial vehicles. Equipped with strategically placed 2D and 3D LiDAR sensors, each vehicle maintains a continuous, real-time, three-dimensional awareness of its environment. The AMRs actively scan for obstructions along the full travel path, including around the robot and its payload. During infrastructure interactions, our advanced safety systems provide path clearance and deliver precise, obstruction-free payload placement. With over 17 million autonomous miles driven in customer productions, our AMRs continue to deliver safe and efficient autonomous solutions—job after job, shift after shift.
